The fabric panel is a pre-cut textile to size 50x46 cm, designed by Alúa Cid to cover the cover of a project, make a beach or snack bag, a cushion... or simply to frame.
The design has the character of Joel holding a balloon, and the panel is made of 100% organic cotton poplin, especially for creative sewing work.
This cotton poplin is produced in the most natural way possible, and is not treated with chemicals or genetically modified. In this way it allows you to make garments that reduce the risk of an allergic reaction, such as those that are sewn for babies.

The CeliAlice Collection
Soon after I started designing my first collections, I launched one inspired by my daughter Celia, who is now the middle child in the house. It was a collection especially designed for little girls and toddlers, very fun and cheerful.
A few years later I republished it because my drawing style has been evolving and I wanted to bring out a new collection inspired by Celia's character. But at the same time I wanted to give it a different touch, making a play on words, as Celia -by changing the position of the letters- also contains the name Alice.
So the reedition is 'CeliAlice' and in it you find characters from Alice in Wonderland, redrawn in my style. Between the fact that Celia is blonde and that this touch of illusion and fantasy looks great in a collection aimed at little girls, it's perfect.
As I have launched it towards spring, natural tones predominate in it, and there is an abundance of flowers. I've introduced green, a colour I've never used before, and it gives it a lovely touch. So it's here to stay.

El panel de tela Cheshire es un textil precortado a tamaño aproximado de 50x46 cm, diseñado por Alúa Cid para forrar la cubierta de un proyecto, hacer una bolsita de playa o de merienda, un cojín... o simplemente para enmarcar.
El diseño lleva la cara del gato sonriente de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas, y el panel está elaborado en popelín de algodón 100% orgánico, especial para trabajos de costura creativa.
Este popelín de algodón se produce del modo más natural posible, y no está tratado con productos químicos ni modificados genéticamente. De este modo te permite hacer prendas que disminuyen el riesgo de una reacción alérgica, como las que se cosen para bebés.
Nuestras telas están impresas, no tejidas ni confeccionadas. Por eso, al cortarlas para enviártelas, los dibujos pueden tener alguna pequeña desviación o no estar perfectamente centrados.

Al poco de empezar a diseñar mis primeras colecciones, lancé una inspirada en mi hija Celia, que hoy es la mediana de la casa. Era una colección especialmente pensada para niñas y peques, muy divertida y alegre.
Unos años después la reedito porque mi estilo de dibujo ha ido evolucionando y me apetecía sacar una nueva colección inspirada en el personaje de Celia. Pero a la vez he querido darle un toque diferente, haciendo un juego de palabras ya que Celia -intercambiando las letras de posición- contiene también el nombre Alice.
De este modo la reedición es CeliAlice y en ella encuentras personajes de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas, redibujados con mi estilo. Entre que Celia es rubita y que ese toque de ilusión y fantasía queda genial en una colección orientada a niñas pequeñas, es perfecto.
Como la he lanzado hacia primavera, en ella predominan los tonos naturales, y hay abundancia de flores. He introducido el verde, un color que nunca había usado, y le da un toque precioso. Así que ha llegado para quedarse.
Inicialmente la colección la diseñé solo para Gira Nacional de Primavera 2023, pero la vi tan bonita que le hice más complementos y la saqué a la venta. Así ahora tú también puedes disfrutar de ella.

I've always been a super creative person and I've worked a lot with my hands, but I only discovered the world of illustration a few years ago and it has little to do with my studies and my training.
I started a degree in Industrial Design Engineering, but... I soon realised that the industrial side was not for me.
I love getting my hands dirty with paints, and I love the handmade component of my work. That personal touch that illuminates small and pampered productions that contain my soul in every stroke.
I also love to invent. Every month I launch new stationery and scrapbooking products that make writing, planning or crafting tasks easier.
