The Catty fabric panel is a pre-cut textile to size 50x46 cm, designed by Alúa Cid to cover the cover of a project, make a beach or snack bag, a cushion... or simply to frame.
The design has an Aluli disguised as a cat and the panel is made of 100% organic cotton poplin, especially for creative sewing work.
This cotton poplin is produced in the most natural way possible, and is not treated with chemicals or genetically modified. In this way it allows you to make garments that reduce the risk of an allergic reaction, such as those that are sewn for babies.

I have designed Pelele for people who live and experience Carnival with enthusiasm.
Although I don't dress up, nor do I celebrate that party, children in costumes seem adorable to me. Especially when they go dolls. They move me a lot. That's why I find a child dressed up more amusing at any time of the year -since they don't care about going dressed up on the street- than Carnival or Halloween.
I wanted to do illustrations with the boy dressed as a dinosaur or the girl Maya the bee, because I have a special thing for bees. I started making little characters and that grew and grew until it became the Pelele collection.
It is ideal for doing any project for children or documenting children's parties, regardless of the season of the year. Pelele is very childish, suitable to create gifts with it for anyone who works with children, such as a pediatrician, a school teacher, an after-school monitor, a children's nurse...
It is a unisex collection, because there are costumes for boys and girls. The character is Aluli (the same one from the Maravillas collection), although the palette is different. It is characterized with little animals or characters that recover the innocence of the little ones... and your illusion.

Este popelín de algodón se produce del modo más natural posible, y no está tratado con productos químicos ni modificados genéticamente. De este modo te permite hacer prendas que disminuyen el riesgo de una reacción alérgica, como las que se cosen para bebés.
Nuestras telas están impresas, no tejidas ni confeccionadas. Por eso, al cortarlas para enviártelas, los dibujos pueden tener alguna pequeña desviación o no estar perfectamente centrados.

He diseñado Pelele para la gente que vive y experimenta el Carnaval con ilusión.
Aunque yo no me disfrazo, ni celebro esa fiesta, me parecen adorables los niños disfrazados. Especialmente cuando van de muñequitos. Me enternecen un montón. Por eso me hace más gracia un niño disfrazado en cualquier época del año -ya que les da igual ir disfrazados por la calle-, que Carnaval o Halloween.
Me apetecía hacer ilustraciones con el niño disfrazado de dinosaurio o la niña de abeja Maya, porque tengo un rollo especial con las abejitas. Empecé haciendo personajillos y aquello creció y creció hasta convertirse en la colección Pelele.
Es ideal para hacer cualquier proyecto de peques o documentar fiestas infantiles, da igual la estación del año. Pelele es muy infantil, adecuada para crear con ella regalitos para cualquier persona que trabaje con niños, como un pediatra, una profesora de cole, un monitor de extraescolares, una enfermera de peques...
Es una colección unisex, porque hay disfraces de niños y de niñas. El personaje es Aluli (el mismo de la colección Maravillas), aunque la paleta es diferente. Está caracterizada con animalitos o personajes que recuperan la inocencia de los más chicos... y tu ilusión.

I've always been a super creative person and I've worked a lot with my hands, but I only discovered the world of illustration a few years ago and it has little to do with my studies and my training.
I started a degree in Industrial Design Engineering, but... I soon realised that the industrial side was not for me.
I love getting my hands dirty with paints, and I love the handmade component of my work. That personal touch that illuminates small and pampered productions that contain my soul in every stroke.
I also love to invent. Every month I launch new stationery and scrapbooking products that make writing, planning or crafting tasks easier.
