Our Dies

These dies are used with a CocoMummy, Big Shot, and other similar die-cutting machines. If they contain small elements, they are also compatible with the CocoCuttie by Alúa Cid and mini die-cutters.

Each die is lacquered in pastel pink and made of high-quality carbon steel with a Teflon coating for durability.

PLEASE NOTE: Our dies are for home use. They cut 190 gsm cardstock and struggle with thicker cardboard such as watercolor paper or mixed media paper. Since the dies are essentially blades, repeated use will cause them to wear down and cut less effectively (they are sharpened slightly by repeatedly punching aluminum foil.)

For thick papers where the punch doesn't cut well, it's necessary to place one or two pieces of cardstock underneath, either above the acrylic or below the magnet, to help apply more pressure, and run them through the manual punch more than once.

Nuestros troqueles

Los troqueles se emplean junto con una CocoMummy, Big Shot y otras máquinas de corte similares. Si tienen elementos pequeños, también son compatibles con la CocoCuttie de Alúa Cid y troqueladoras mini.

Cada pieza está lacada en rosita pastel y elaborada en acero al carbono de alta calidad, recubierta de teflón, para que sea muy duradera.

TOMA NOTA: Nuestros troqueles son para uso doméstico. Cortan cartulina de 190 gr, y les cuesta cortar cartón grueso como el papel de acuarela o mixed media. Además, como los troqueles son en realidad cuchillas, si se usan repetidamente se irán desgastando y cortarán peor (se afilan un poco troquelando repetidamente papel de aluminio).

En papeles gorditos donde el troquel no corta bien, es necesario meter debajo una o dos cartulinas por encima del metacrilato o por debajo del imantado para ayudar a ejercer más presión, y pasarlos más de una vez por la troqueladora manual.
