IMPORTANT: The CocoCuttie is not an electric machine, so it works best if, when you insert the die, you start by passing it through its narrowest part, or if you leave a space at the edge of the plates and push the die further in to help it start.
If you start with the wider side of the die, you will sometimes need to push the plates to get them to slide. Sometimes gently, and other times firmly, depending on the die. But don't worry, the CocoCuttie won't be damaged.
PLEASE NOTE: The plates of all manual cutting tools, like the CocoCuttie, wear down and warp with use. As the part that bears the force of a tool that cuts by pressure, they need to be replaced periodically. The plates need to be replaced when they are very warped or when the marks left by the dies during cutting bleed through to the paper.

IMPORTANTE: La CocoCuttie no es una máquina eléctrica, por lo que funciona mejor si cuando pones el troquel comienzas a pasarlo por su parte más estrecha o cuando dejas un espacio al borde de las placas y metes el troquel más adentro, para ayudarla a arrancar.
Si empiezas por el lado más ancho del troquel, en ocasiones tendrás que empujar las placas para que se deslicen. A veces más suavemente, y otras con fuerza, dependiendo del troquel. Pero no temas, que la CocoCuttie no se dañará.
TEN EN CUENTA: Las placas de todas las herramientas de corte manuales, como la CocoCuttie, se desgastan y se curvan por el uso. Al ser la pieza que soporta la fuerza de una herramienta que corta mediante presión, requiere que se cambien periódicamente. El momento de cambiar las placas es cuando están muy curvadas o cuando las marcas que tienen -producidas por los troqueles al cortar- se traspasan al papel y lo dejan marcado.
